NeetVictory ("the app", "we", "us") is a NEET exam-preparation app published by [YOUR LEGAL NAME / COMPANY NAME] of [ADDRESS, CITY, STATE, INDIA]. You can reach us at [CONTACT EMAIL].

This policy explains what we collect, why, who else handles it, and the choices you have. It is written to follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Google Play's User Data policy.

1. Who this app is for, and children

NeetVictory is for students preparing for NEET, many of whom are under 18. If you are under 18, please use the app with a parent or guardian's knowledge. Where the law requires a parent or guardian's consent for a minor's data, we ask for it at sign-up and treat the account holder's confirmation as that consent. We do not show advertising and we do not track or profile minors for any purpose other than running the app.

2. What we collect

Without an account (stays on your phone). Your practice attempts, answers, ratings, mastery map and mock history are stored only in the app's database on your device. We do not receive them. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes them.

When you create an account (needed for full mocks, bi-weekly mocks and previous-year papers):

DataWhy
Mobile number (verified by a one-time password)To sign you in and identify your account
School name, city, pincodeTo understand who the app is serving and to improve it
Class (11, 12, or completed 12) and NEET attempt numberTo tailor the study plan
Parent or guardian nameRequired context for a minor's account
Parent or guardian mobile number (optional)Only if you choose to give it

When you pay. In the Android app, payment is handled entirely by Google Play. On our website, payment is handled by Razorpay. In both cases we never see your card, UPI PIN or bank details. For a website payment we keep a record of the order (plan, amount, date, a payment reference), the number of your receipt and a copy of the receipt PDF, and the email address you give us if you ask for the receipt to be emailed. We keep payment records for as long as the law requires us to keep accounts. Our subscription provider, RevenueCat, receives an anonymous account identifier and your purchase and entitlement status so we can tell whether you have paid access.

Automatically. The app needs internet access to sign you in, verify subscriptions and download new weekly mocks. We do not use advertising IDs, location, contacts, camera, microphone or storage permissions, and the app contains no analytics or advertising SDK. Our service providers (below) may process technical data such as IP address and device information to deliver their services.

Exams and All-India ranks. When you finish a previous-year paper or a mock while signed in, we store the sitting on your account: which paper, your answers, your score and the time you took. For past papers our server marks your answers itself and ranks your best score among all students on that paper. Everyone who finishes a paper gets a rank. Your name and school are shown beside your rank only if you turn that on (a tick-box at sign-up and a switch on the rank list). If you do not, you appear as "Student". If you are under 18, turn it on only with your parent or guardian's consent. You can turn it off at any time, which removes your name and school from the lists; deleting your account removes your rank entries.
